Grounded
"Dig your heels in and stick your chest out
It’s time to start standing up for yourself
Others can judge, let them all talk
But don’t join the noise, separate from the flock
Your inner voice is your weapon, so sharpen the blade
But be careful how you wield it
In the right hands it will provide aid, in the wrong ones it will cast a shadow,
dulling your colors and pulling the pigment
Leaving you feeling grey when you look in the mirror
But your reflection is nothing more than perception
through the fog the image becomes clearer
We’re all born worthy, there is no exception
So rewrite the book, this is a new chapter
grounded in worth, self love ever after"-Nick Gould
